First-Shred is proud to be AAA NAID Certified for On-Site document shredding. This is the only widely recognized credential for the document shredding industry.

We are audited by a third party Certified auditor on both an annual and a random basis. Here is a small sample of our audited items:

Background Checks	We must conduct full 7 year background checks both upon hire and on a random basis.
Drug Testing	We must conduct drug testing upon hire and on a random basis
Shred Quality	Our shred quality is inspected to ensure the highest level of security
Legal Employees	All of our employees must be legally employable in the USA
Confidentiality	All of our employees must sign confidentiality agreements upon hire
Policies & Procedures	We must have strict written security policies and procedures in force
Insurance	We maintain a minimum of $10 Million in Liability coverage and $1 million in E&O Coverage

What makes a First-Shred security driver?
Dallas Shredding

Our drivers must undergo rigorous testing and examination before becoming a First-Shred Security Driver. This includes, but is not limited to:

Pass a 7 year criminal background check upon hire, plus random criminal background checks throughout their career
Pass both pre-hire and random drug screens
Go through the First-Shred proprietary security training program before ever running their own route.
Adherence to our strict dress, appearance, and conduct code.
Completion of our customer service training program. Our drivers are true professionals.
